1. The student interested in registering for the OOA placement process for the upcoming
placement session must prepare a Master Resume and submit it by the specified
deadline to the Office of Outreach Activities (OOA) during registration of placement.
All the proofs justifying each point in the student's master resume need to be
submitted along with the Master Resume.
2. The student is also supposed to submit a short resume in specified standard format
of two pages to OOA to share with the companies.
3. The student must register for the OOA placement process within the specified time
frame as notified.
4. Each program should appoint a team of students as a point of contact (POC) from the
students' side for resume verification and for supporting placement. A team
consisting of minimum of two Department Point of Contacts (DPOC), two Industrial
Coordinators (IC) and one Social Media Coordinator (SMC) for each programme is
necessary to carry on placement activities. You may choose the team independently
or individuals can fill the āSupportive Involvement Towards eMasters Placement
Procedureā (https://forms.gle/794AUy1WVnUqnsGn7) to form the team. This form
has the details of the responsibilities for these roles. Following the OOA (eMasters)
team's evaluation of your participation, you will receive a certificate for the same. The
certificates for DPOC may be collected from OA office when the student comes for the
convocation or will be posted to the address shared by them post-convocation. The
certificates for IC and SMC would be mailed to the students when the students step
down from the post or six months post-graduation, following a review of their
performance by OOA. A minimum of 6 months of association with OOA for a post
is necessary to avail a certificate.
5. Once the name(s) of the POC and the team is decided, OOA will inform the student
coordinators and all the students of the respective programme about the details of all
the team members. It is suggested to build your connections with your senior and
junior batches for smooth handover of responsibilities from one cohort to another.
6. The outgoing DPOC, at least one month preceding their graduation, is responsible for
selecting a successor and notifying the OOA before applying for institute no -dues
clearance. Facilitating a seamless transition of DPOC responsibilities to the newly
appointed individual is a key duty of the outgoing DPOC, and it is a prerequisite for
obtaining clearance of Institute no dues. If the IC or SMC plans to step down from their
position, they must notify OOA at least one month in advance to allow time for a new
IC/SMC to be appointed.
7. The student would be assigned a time window during which the allotted DPOC would
verify the resume.
